Our Providers
Every prescription written through ProtocolRX is reviewed by an independent, licensed physician.
How our provider network works
ProtocolRX does not employ physicians and does not practice medicine. When you submit a prescription request through the platform, your intake is routed to our telehealth partner, Stealth Health, which operates a network of independent, licensed U.S. physicians credentialed to prescribe in the specific states where our members reside.
The physician who evaluates your intake — not ProtocolRX— has full clinical discretion. They can request additional information, order labs, decline the request, or prescribe. If a prescription is written, it is issued in that physician’s name and under their license, transmitted directly to a partner pharmacy.
Credentialing standards
- All physicians are MD or DO and hold active, unrestricted licenses in the states where they prescribe.
- Licensure is verified against state medical boards on a rotating basis.
- DEA registration is verified where relevant (ProtocolRX does not currently offer controlled substances).
- Malpractice insurance is required for participation.
- Providers are trained on the specific telehealth workflow and platform intake criteria.
Provider identification
The specific physician who reviews and, if appropriate, prescribes your protocol is disclosed to you as part of your medical record. You can find your prescribing provider’s name, license state, and NPI number in your account under “Prescriptions” as soon as a prescription is issued.
If you would like to verify a provider’s license independently, use the Federation of State Medical Boards DocInfo service or the licensing board of the state in which the provider practices. We do not maintain a public roster because telehealth patients are matched to the specific licensed provider for their state at the moment of intake; publishing an aggregate list would not accurately reflect who is treating you.
No prescription without evaluation
No prescription is dispensed through ProtocolRX without a documented clinical evaluation by a licensed physician. Our platform enforces this as a hard requirement — if a physician cannot approve your intake based on the information submitted, no medication is ordered and you are not charged.
